We had a wonderful, busy day with our goats and chickens. Carson had a fantastic run, earning a blue ribbon in showmanship and qualifying for the junior showman finals, where she finished a respectable fifth. In the competitive market class, she earned a white ribbon, an impressive feat given the high quality of goats this year.
Meanwhile, Bentley showcased his goat, Ella, in the youth showmanship event, receiving a lovely ribbon and trophy for his hard work. He later presented Ella in the 4-6 month breeding category. Although they didn't win the top prize, Ella is the perfect goat for him, and we are thrilled. Regarding poultry, Bentley earned a blue ribbon in peewee showmanship, while Carson received a red ribbon in the junior division.
